ACTS Engineering is a small engineering consulting firm specializing in structural, geo-structural and dam engineering for the commercial/industrial sector. We have provided our services to mining and water power producer clients, manufacturers, banks, insurance companies and many other businesses.
The field of geotechnical engineering has been a core business since the inception of the company. Foundation design, slope stability analysis, design of excavation shoring and bracing are services we provide. We also have expertise in the design of on-site sewage systems, construction dewatering and site drainage.
We also specialize in structural design and detailing of concrete, wood and steel for building design and in-plant structures and safety systems.
In the dam safety business we provide services in both mine tailings and water-retention dams, emergency preparedness and emergency action planning for dams. Our staff have expertise in the hydrology and hydraulics of dams, as well as geotechnics of earth and concrete dams, dam break analysis, and inundation studies. Our professional staff also have experience in federal and state permitting related to dams, and environmental assessments of dam projects.
