Actuaries In the Making (AIM) is a focused and streamlined vacation programme for actuarial students in their penultimate and final years of study, which is designed to be run on a part-time basis in a completely virtual format. The flexibility cultivated by this approach for all parties involved allows the AIM programme to be more inclusive and scalable than traditional vacation work models.
The purpose of AIM is to help bridge the (often daunting) gap between university and the workplace by introducing students to the technical and normative skills that actuaries actually use.
