Acuamaya has invested continually in the development and R&D of its own operations including 3 production farms (all ASC Certified), a state of the art hatchery and genetic programs, and a highly functional, internationally certified processing plant. As a result, the company can guarantee its highly demanding customers, full traceability of the shrimp they are buying under our brands; from the genetic family at our hatchery, through the growth phase at each of our farms, to the processing and finished branded product at our processing plant.
Moreover, our La Candelaria Shrimp Hatchery is now recognized as one of the most advanced and efficient of its kind in the Central American region. Therefore, Acuamaya is also a leader in nauplii and post larvae production, "Maya Larva" and has been successfully serving the needs of both local and international customers.
