Acuity Project Management, LLC was formed by J. Ashley Hunt PMP, MCAS and Joseph Franchini in early 2011. With a combined 20 years in Project Management training experience, we have worked with some of the largest companies in the world delivering high--quality PMP® Certification Training. All of this experience led to a vision of taking the traditional model of PMP® Training and transforming it into an “Experiential Learning Model” that takes the client’s needs into consideration and allowing the attendees to experience a different type of classroom environment. By understanding the gap between what organizations expect and what they achieve with a traditional training approach, Acuity transformed their model to incorporate specific issues organizations face such as: •Over budget and behind schedule projects •Lost contracts due to uncertified people •A general lack of teamwork, communication and set process Acuity helps organizations improve their underlying business processes in two ways. First, we teach individuals, in a collaborative environment, how to pass the Project Management Professional Certification (PMP®). Second, concurrent to the PMP® sessions, we facilitate workshops with the goal of implementing the new knowledge students have gained into specific job roles and organizational functions.
