About The Association of Dance of the African Diaspora (ADAD)
ADAD's mission is to support the practice and appreciation of dance of the African Diaspora. Founded in 1994, ADAD has gone from strength to strength and now delivers a range of excellent initiatives which aim to raise the profile of dance artists, and to provide professional development and networking opportunities. ADAD exists to: • Enable artists through continuing professional development, • Develop new pathways to a sustainable future through education and training, • Build networks through hosting events and sharing information, • Foster pride in dance of the African Diaspora through celebrating heritage.
