Work isn't supposed to be a grind. Work is supposed to be your chance to contribute to the world in a meaningful way using your skills, talents and knowledge. Under the right circumstances it can even be fun. If you're to the point where you can't wait until the day is over or you're counting the days til the weekend then it's time to take action. By taking action I mean taking a concerted approach to finding the right job at the right company. Taking calls with recruiters and applying here and there isn't going to cut it. That's what got you in trouble in the first place. I spent years experiencing the endless grind of working for the wrong company in the wrong role because I didn't know any better. I'm here to tell you that there's a way out. The answer is in having the right strategy and the right approach. Without it you're doomed to continue repeating the same mistakes like I did.
