The world's ecology is in the toilet., 70% of invertebrate species wiped out and 50% of insect species near extinction. This is no joke, we are experiencing the planets 6th mass extinction event and this time it is man-made. What to do? Regenerative agriculture is the key to all of the world's problems. it is the harmonious integration of landscape and people providing their food, energy, shelter, and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way. Without permanent agriculture there is no possibility of a stable social order. How will we accomplish our task of creating farm-to-table or a mosaic of small bio-regions? The knowledge and solutions already exist. I have created an international network, to renovate farms to sustainable practices and turn these into education center so that we may teach sustainable design to those willing to learn. All the problems of the world can be solved in your own garden. Don't have your own garden? Then join a community and create one. When people don't believe me, that being sustainable will be able to feed the world, my answer is always, if you plant a tree...will it grow? This path will not be easy, but again, all the solutions exist. Housing, finance, marketing, creating local networks, can all be accomplished with the right people. Building communities is far harder than farming (roughly 80% of plants are beneficial to one another). If nature can cooperate with one another, so can we. Change your outlook on life. Stop continuing activities that lead to our destruction, but instead approach people by asking, what can we accomplish together?...NOT what is in it for me? Planet, people and profit are the new ethos. If you can agree to that then we can work together. Only we, humans can save our planet from destruction. Act now!
