Adesso Development Initiative (ADI) is a non-governmental organization led by young individuals, operating in Nigeria. Our primary goal is to enhance access to quality education in public schools. We are dedicated to reducing the digital divide and nurturing skills that foster resilience and development. Our core mission revolves around equipping young people from diverse social backgrounds with the necessary educational resources. Through our work, we aim to address education quality, bridge the digital divide, promote inclusion, and encourage responsible consumption and production. Our organization implements several impactful programs, including: 1. Back2School Initiative: This program is carefully designed to support students in returning to school by providing them with essential educational materials. We also extend our assistance to out-of-school children, ensuring they receive the necessary support to rejoin the educational system. 2. Serve: Developed by Adesso Development Initiative, Serve is an initiative that fosters social and educational skills in an engaging sports environment. We specifically target children facing socio-economic disadvantages or those at risk of social exclusion. By participating in Serve, these children have the opportunity to interact, acquire new skills, and build self-confidence. 3. Tech4Girls: This program focuses on empowering young women in underserved communities across Nigeria. Through skill acquisition training, we aim to bridge the digital knowledge gap between young boys and girls. By equipping these young women with essential digital skills, we promote gender equality and provide them with the tools for success.
