For the two years that we were able to find time mentoring Stanford GSB graduate students, we pride ourselves for being able to help them win the first place in GSB's entrepreneurial competitions both years in a row.
Aditi's approach to investment in a startup is based on the premise that it's people that make great companies. Technologies come and go but it's people with the right mindset that make things happen. Hence we always seek to find those 'right' entrepreneurs that we can work with and 'jointly' work towards building the company along with providing the right capital infusion as needed in the early stages of the company.
Entrepreneurs that look at investors just for their deep-money' pockets or one with a great 'rolodex' may not be the right partners with whom we may want to build and entrepreneurial venture.
We look for those entrepreneurs that can look past 'cool' technological innovation, be pragmatic and focus on the 'real' need of the customer.
