Aubre Andrus is the Founder and CEO of Adjective Animal Publishing, an independent children's publisher based in Los Angeles, California. Adjective Animal Publishing creates titles that inspires kids and families to be kind and be curious. It launched in Fall 2021 with the Look Up Series, a collection of biography/activity books that celebrate real women in S.T.E.A.M. careers. Andrus brings 15 years of publishing industry experience as an American Girl editor and an award-winning children's book author. She's had dozens of books published by American Girl, National Geographic Kids, Lonely Planet Kids, Disney, Scholastic, and more. Andrus received her degrees in journalism and film from the University of Wisconsin, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
