L’Administration de pilotage des Laurentides a pour mandat :
de faire fonctionner, d’entretenir et de gérer, pour la sécurité de la navigation, un service de pilotage efficace dans les eaux canadiennes de la région des Laurentides;
de maintenir les redevances des droits de pilotage à un niveau équitable et raisonnable qui tient compte du fait que l’Administration doit tirer un revenu qui, avec les revenus provenant d’autres sources, doit lui permettre le financement autonome de ses opérations.
