ADR Institute of Alberta

The ADR Institute of Alberta (ADRIA) is the professional association for mediators, arbitrators, and other Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) practitioners in our province. As an affiliate of the ADR Institute of Canada, we offer a nationally accredited training program and professional designations for ADR practitioners. We serve the public and other organizations by providing information about dispute resolution options and resources, maintaining an online directory to find a qualified mediator or arbitrator anywhere in the province, and offering training and professional development in conflict management. Membership is open to individuals or organizations practicing or supporting ADR in Alberta. The original Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society (AAMS) was founded in 1982 and changed to become the ADR Institute of Alberta in May 2012.
