De SCIOS Scope 8 is gebaseerd op de NEN3140 veiligheidsnorm. Deze norm beschrijft dat een elektrische installatie periodiek gekeurd moet worden aan de hand van de gestelde veiligheidseisen. Tijdens de inspectie bepalen de visuele inspectie en de metingen of de elektrische installatie aan de eisen voldoet. De SCIOS Scope 8 inspectie wordt aan de hand van een inspectieplan uitgevoerd. Aan de hand van het plan wordt een helder en objectief advies gegeven over de uitvoering en inhoud van de inspectie.
