THE STORY OF ADSECURUS
adSecurus was founded in 2013, but the idea for the company was born during an expedition to Mount Aconcagua. While climbing, Denis Galkin, the future founder, reflected on how to combine his passion for mountains, his extensive experience in Information Security and Cybersecurity, and his desire to help people and protect lives.
The name adSecurus brings together two essential Latin elements: “ad” and “securus.” The word “ad” means “toward” (as in ad astra – “to the stars”), and “securus” means “secure” or “safe.” The name was inspired by the mountains themselves — places where we are physically closer to the stars and reminded of the importance of striving for both elevation and protection.
