We are an interdisciplinary research group based in Bristol, UK. The focus of our group is reducing the burden of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance utilising innovative approaches. Our work involves • exploring the role of alternative and complementary therapies in improving health and reducing pathogen burden • using modern technologies to understand bacterial and fungal biofilms to develop new treatments • conducting qualitative and quantitative research to address the burden of infectious disease pathogens e.g. antimicrobial resistance (AMR) • developing public engagement and outreach activity for science and community benefit. We have expertise working with industry and the commercial sector to develop innovative products and relevant interventions.
