Founded in 2007, ADVANCE is the ISEG - ULisboa Advanced Research Center in Management.
With a Research Team mainly composed by ISEG-Lisbon School of Economics & Management professors, ADVANCE is a private non-profit institution that encourages and supports innovative and high-quality research in the Management field. The center develops substantive research combining a deep theoretical basis with extensive empirical research.
ADVANCE is committed to increase the production of scientific work presented at top international conferences, as well as the production of scientific articles published in recognized journals.
It also promotes Research Seminars and Summer Courses that foster the interaction between members and main researchers in various fields of Management, while exposing the participants to cutting-edge knowledge.
Since 2013, together with ISEG's research units SOCIUS, CEsA and GHES, ADVANCE is part of CSG – Research in Social Sciences and Management, the R&D consortium that brings together researchers who share similar conceptions of the study of socioeconomic and organizational reality.
CSG - Research in Social Sciences and Management was evaluated by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) as Very Good.
