Advanced Coatings Inc. is recognized as a leader in spray applied membranes and drainage layer products. Our focus is on high quality, technically advanced, liquid applied systems and drainage layer membranes, designed to protect and enhance the performance of buildings and structures.
Our cost effective, high performance products are specified and utilized by architects, engineers, general contractors and home builders for a number of demanding applications.
With “Total Quality” in mind, Advanced Coatings supplies proven high performance products that provide innovative solutions for waterproofing, air barrier and drainage applications.
History
Advanced Coatings Inc. was established in 1992 with the mission to combat the Number one problem facing builders in Ontario that being water leakage into basements. As a division of Atlas Block Co. Ltd we undertook the task of introducing new waterproofing technology to Central Ontario homebuilders and gradually grew our contracting division and dealer network division to provide waterproofing solutions to Builders and Homeowners throughout Ontario.
In 1995 we expanded beyond our provincial borders and began our mission to establish our products within the entire Canadian marketplace, at this time we began to introduce our innovative air/vapour barrier products to the marketplace.
In 2001, Advanced introduce their Drainage layer line of membranes as a complimentary product addition to their full waterproofing line-up of products.
In 2005, Advanced moved beyond Canada and introduced their products into the Unites States to further grow and expand the company’s product reach.
In 2010, long-time employees, Vladimir Vicic and Les Shannon purchased Advanced Coatings and began the process of expanding and transforming the company to embrace the North American marketplace in the waterproofing, drainage and air barrier field while pursuing expansion opportunities into overseas marketplaces.
