Walkway auditing or floor safety testing is a pro-active approach to floor safety. Walkway safety testing is a service offered to safety conscious company’s who recognize the potential for slip/fall hazards for both their customer’s and employees. Walkway safety testing is an actual audit on a companies floors which is conducted by a certified walkway safety auditor who in turn has been trained and certified in slip and fall prevention as well as certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) as certified in walkway auditing. The audit is conducted according to the walkway surface auditing guidelines as recommended by the NFSI. The process consists of identifying ares within a facility and rating each area according to risk factor. After each area has been identified and properly zoned for risk, then one of our certified walkway auditors will test the static co-efficient of friction of the floor using the latest in slip testing. The BOT-3000 which is a Binary Output Tribometer that will read the Static Co-effient of Friction under both wet and dry potentially unsafe floor conditions.
