Patient groups include those with dental phobia, severe anxiety, gag reflex or complex painful procedures.
We contact the patient before their sedation to explain fully what sedation is, what the alternatives are, the safety measures taken and offer reassurance.
We send consent and pre- and post-op instructions out ahead of the sedation.
