Advanced Accounting and Tax Solutions (Advats) provides a very individualized approach, which most clients do not receive from the accounting industry. Instead of having 500 to 1,000 clients like a typical accounting firm, Advats has less than 100 clients to provide this individualized approach clients want. Matt, the founder, noticed a disconnect between accountants, lawyers and financial planners. There are certain areas where none of these three professionals are advising clients because it was not in their area of expertise, yet clients are in dire need of professionals to assist them on these areas, which include asset protection and estate planning. With these two ideas in mind, Advats’ business model was born - to provide concierge level accounting services, which fills the void between lawyers and financial planners.
