Advent Technologies is a world leader in the development of high temperature membrane electrode assembly (MEA) technology for use in high temperature PEM fuel cells and hydrogen clean up devices. Our technology is based on pyridine based polymers and membranes that result in high performing and durable MEAs ideal for HT PEM fuel cells operating at temperatures between 150-220oC. Our technical team is also continuously developing new type of high temperature electrolytes combining different monomers that result in tailor-made polymeric materials. Founded in 2006, Advent is dedicated to commercialize the technology and to scale up manufacturing to the level that covers existing and near future demands. The company is headquartered in East Hartford, CT with R&D and pilot production facilities in Patras, Greece. The combination of locations offers the ability to perform cutting edge development of the technology in combination with scaled up manufacturing to support the individual needs of our partners and customers.
