Adventure For All

This all started whilst I was traveling in Mongolia on my round the world motorcycle adventure. Whilst I was in Mongolia I was struck by the number of children living on the streets. I was totally stopped in my tracks, however spending some time with them I quickly realized the last thing these kids needed was my pity and tears. They had grit, hustle and drive. I continued asking around about the situation and wondered what programs existed for them, and there are amazing charities and organizations doing some amazing work on the ground there. However, one of the biggest challenges is simply a factor created by opportunity cost. Many of these children are enrolled into education programs, however around the ages of 12 and 13 many drop out, as they simply need to work and provide for their families. It was clear that the traditional approach to schooling was only working so far, compounded by the fact kids that dropped out of school were 8 times more likely to end up in jail than those that didn’t. Something had to be done. I was on my adventure and these children needed access to start their own. So say hello to Adventure For All.
