Adventure Term

Adventure Term is an experiential education organization training the next generation of creative environmental communicators. Through hands-on field expeditions in North America and beyond, students learn theoretical and practical skills in environmental journalism, conservation photography, documentary filmmaking, audio storytelling, and new media. Our expeditions have traveled into the Florida Everglades in pursuit of American Crocodiles, to the swamp forests of eastern North Carolina on the trail of the Red Wolf, and through the cloud forests of Costa Rica in search of the Golden Toad. Award-winning Adventure Term stories have been published in regional and national markets and screened at international film festivals.
