AEFFE SpA is a company quoted in the Borsa Italiana Star segment and for over thirty years it has been one of the most important players internationally in the luxury goods and fashion sector. It manages the production and distribution of high-profile brands such as Moschino, Jeremy Scott, Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Pollini and Cédric Charlier.
The Aeffe Group was created on the initiative of the designer Alberta Ferretti who set up her own business in 1972 as an individual enterprise. Years of successful, high-class production followed, with the Alberta Ferretti brand becoming established as a benchmark for “Made in Italy” elegance and quality, and the constant growth of the Aeffe Group. Right from the start, because of its multibrand vocation, the Group started to create and distribute the collections of some major fashion houses. Thanks to the collaboration with the designer Franco Moschino, since 1983 Aeffe Group has been producing and distributing the "Moschino Couture!" brand range, known for its innovative, refreshing and eccentric design. Following the premature demise of Franco Moschino in 1994, his colleague Rossella Jardini picked up the baton left by the famous designer, becoming leader of the creative department and managing the brand’s style and image until the end of 2013 when the role of creative director of the Moschino maison was taken on by the eclectic Jeremy Scott.
In 1984 Aeffe launched the Philosophy brand on the international prêt-à-porter scene, enhancing it with traits of femininity and freshness. In 2014 Lorenzo Serafini became creative director for this successful brand.
The acquisition of Pollini and Velmar in 2001-02 completed the Aeffe’s collections produced by its own maisons with ranges of accessories, footwear and leather goods, as well as lingerie, beachwear and loungewear.
The Aeffe Group today has 1.400 employees all over the world, spread throughout its headquarters, showrooms and singe-brand boutiques
