AEGEE-Verona

AEGEE (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe / European Students’ Forum) is an organization that promotes cooperation, communication and integration in the European academic environment. It's a non-governmental, politically independent and no-profit organization, open to all students and young workers aged 18-35 of any faculty and discipline. The original name (EGEE) is inspired by the Egeo Sea, one of the places where the democracy borns and by first parliament formed at the beginning of the French Revolution, the "Etats Généraux" (General States). Now the organization has 13,000 members, active in more than 200 university in 40 European states; this makes it the largest interdisciplinary European student association. AEGEE-Verona, the local branch of the association, was founded in 2013 and since that day it has organized many local and international events like conferences, workshops, "Aperitivi linguistici", trips, city tours and other activities. AEGEE-Verona is always looking for new members for making them develop new competences and knowledge that will make them more competitive in the job market.
