Starting in 2018, after a series of school shootings Inventor John decided to buy his children bulletproof backpacks for school. After many hours of searching, he found a limited selection, and the few he did find were outrageously over priced that the average family could not afford. John with his background of product design and manufacturing experience knew he could create a bulletproof backpack that the average family could afford and shake up an old industry. John true to his word started ROO Backpacks, and today at ROO we are proud to say we are the only company that manufactures and sells a bulletproof backpack in the Americas that are stylish, fictional and cost the same as a traditional backpack while providing additional protection for your loved ones.
