L'association économique de Gland et région (AEGR) a été crée en 1983. Sa vocation est de coordonner les efforts de ses affiliés pour la sauvegarde de leurs intérêts. Pour y parvenir, elle prend toutes les initiatives requises afin d'améliorer les conditions économiques de la région : organisation de manifestations, information, concertation et propositions aux autorités municipales. L'AEGR dispose de son propre journal : Gland Cité.
