Academic Expertise Centre Palliative Care Leuven

The Academic Expertise Centre Palliative Care (AEPZ) is a partnership that includes everyone who contributes in one way or another to research, education or clinical practice in palliative care. This collaboration includes members from various departments within the KU Leuven Association, KU Leuven, UZ Leuven, and Z.ORG. Rooted in a strong ethical tradition, KU Leuven, KU Leuven Association, UZ Leuven, and Z.ORG aim to provide accessible, high-quality palliative care for patients facing life-threatening conditions and their loved ones. The extensive interdisciplinary research team at KU Leuven, along with training programs across various faculties and the daily clinical care provided at UZ Leuven, form a solid foundation for achieving this goal. The pursuit of excellence in palliative care must be reflected in research, education, and support services.
