Aesther Ekme

Aesther Ekme is an accessories brand founded in 2016, the word ‘Ekme’ hailing from Crimean Tatar describing a traditional shoulder bag, whilst ‘Aesther’ derives from classicism. Together, and subliminally, the name reads as ‘classic bags’. The notion of subliminal lives throughout Aesther Ekme designs, which purify and elevate classic shapes. Trimmings, patterns and hardware, all devices commonly used to create signature bags are removed, realising quality, accessible leather goods that do not overwhelm their wearer, but instead enable her possibilities. Drawing on the allure of timelessness, Aesther Ekme is nevertheless a product of today’s panoramic, global attitude, designed by creative director and founder, Stephane Park.
