Africa Energy Transition Services (AETS)

Africa Energy Transition Services (AETS) was born out of the desire to contribute to the energy transition in Africa by supporting key players in the field with quality technical and financial services. Our most advanced current project is in a sector that is very carbon intensive on a global scale and very polluting on a local scale: the transport sector. We want to help accelerate the transition to sustainable, low-carbon mobility in Africa. In the 9 countries covered by AETS (Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo), the objective is to raise awareness and support Leaders of the Goods & Services Transport market as well as their international clients who are committed to decarbonising their supply chain, for a diligent and efficient implementation of their energy transition (social, economic, technical, capacity building etc.). AETS is therefore a “smart capital”TM platform that ideally connects transport companies in the field of energy transition with “green” financial funds, manufacturers and suppliers of electric transport trucks, as well as with large companies concerned with decarbonising their supply chain in Africa. We are convinced that the path to energy transition requires important social adjustments. From an African perspective, decarbonisation of essential services such as transport requires the upgrading and training of existing employees. We also act directly upstream with the States (national education, implementation of policy framework).
