AfEONet

African Election Observation Network (AfEONet) is a loose coalition of African domestic election observers that was conceived in 2016. AfEONet’s mission is to offer a platform for the solidarity of all citizen observation networks and organizations on the African continent. It envisages that solidarity will build bridges across electoral networks and actors in regard to knowledge sharing and support, promotion of universal values for electoral governance and unity of action towards transparent and credible electoral processes in Africa. AfEONet is comprised of membership from Western African Election Observers Network (WAEON) that consists of 11 African countries, Southern African Development Community-Election Support Network and Eastern (SADC-ESN) and Horn of Africa Election Observers Network (E-HORN) that consists of 5 African countries.
