Afework and Partners

Afework and Partners is an Ethiopian workspace for sustainable community development through Architecture, Urbanism, Engineering, and design, founded by Afework Kefyalew and his Partners in 2017. Our practice structure works as a sole being simultaneously multidisciplinary and community-centered in all our endeavors. Afework and Partners are committed to Harmonizing and toiling together the difference among multidisciplinary professionals. Moreover, we strive to create a working environment that is responsive to different cultures, and communities. Sustainability community development is at the heart of our design approach. We audit projects against national and international standards as well as our own Sustainable community development principles, a more comprehensive, and Responsibility Framework. Building a sustainable community requires us to design holistically and be driven by our unique integrated approach. Every project starts with fresh thinking, leading to innovative solutions that are tailor-made to the site, user, and climate.
