Affiliated Radiologists, S.C. have served Rush University Medical Center and its patients since 1972. We currently have 23 members of the department. We are an academically oriented private practice, providing subspecialty image interpretation, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Our interventionalists employ advanced and innovative techniques to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions, some on severely ill, complicated patients.
We have developed strong working relationships with other members of the Rush community of health care providers, and collaborate extensively with the Oncology, Orthopedic, Neurosurgical and Cardiovascular surgical services, Nephrology, Obstetrics and Gynecology among others. Our collaboration includes patient care, consultation, joint interventional procedures, and research. We participate in extensive teaching activities throughout the institution, including training and educating technologists, clinical and radiology residents, as well as producing local and national conferences. We provide free ultrasound image interpretation as a community service for the Community Health Center in Chicago, serving the uninsured.

Affiliated Radiologists provide both inpatient and convenient outpatient services at Rush University Medical Center and the Professional Office Building, respectively. We provide on-call coverage for inpatients 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 52 weeks per year.
