Meet AFII (Association for Immigrant Integration) Our non-profit organization is dedicated to facilitating immigrant integration in the Bay Area by providing a centralized online platform that aims to localize immigrant resources, enabling newcomers to efficiently navigate through the array of services offered by different organizations and connect with relevant contacts tailored to their needs. What we do Hundreds of non-profits in the Bay Area are already providing immigrant support, and this abundance is what makes it difficult to find the right social or non-profit support. Therefore, AFII’s platform will filter the most relevant resources available based on the specific characteristics of each individual entering our website. It will be available in multiple languages to ensure the website is accessible to non-English-speaking communities. Mission and Vision Our goal is to ensure that every immigrant is aware and has equitable access to the resources available to them regardless of their status, origin, or language spoken. In collaboration with numerous non-profit organizations specializing in immigrant support, AFII aims to unite and improve their outreach thus facilitating the connection between the users and the services in a couple of clicks. Products/Services/How it works Our online platform was created to be as simple as possible, and instantly available in different languages so that anyone could easily navigate through the resource search. The process consists of only one part - the anonymous quiz. We will do all the rest. The final product is the personalized list of governmental resources, community groups, and non-profit organizations, their relevance based on the quiz answers, and their contact information.
