The AFIP Foundation (Atrial Fibrillation Innovation Platform) consists of a interdisciplinary team that focuses on improving collaboration between patients with the heart rhythm disorder atrial fibrillation and researchers. Our mission is to improve the treatment atrial fibrillation through co-creation of innovative research into the mechanism, diagnosis and treatment of this heart rhythm disorder.
We strive to have an intensive collaboration with doctors, researchers and patients, where we not only inform you about the results of our research, but we also use citizen science and include experiences of patient in the design of new research projects.
