AFL Masters Victorian Metropolitan Superules Football League Inc

AFL Masters Vic Metro is the official metropolitan competition for AFL Masters in Victoria, providing opportunities for men and women aged 35 and over to continue playing Australian Rules Football in a safe, inclusive, and socially connected environment. With a focus on Footy for Fun, our league promotes participation, fitness, and camaraderie — regardless of playing ability or background. Games are played every second Sunday to accommodate family, work, and lifestyle commitments, with teams competing across multiple age divisions including Over 35s, 40s, 45s, 50s, and beyond. Supported by the AFL and AFL Masters National, the Vic Metro competition follows modified rules to reduce injury risk and enhance enjoyment, while still delivering a competitive and spirited brand of football. Our league values fairness, respect, and community — on and off the field. In addition to regular-season matches, players can represent Victoria in the AFL Masters National Carnival, which attracts teams from every state and territory. The league also promotes women’s participation, inclusive programs, and ongoing club development.
