AFP is a membership organization, which exists to foster the development and growth of fundraising professionals, to promote high ethical standards in the fundraising profession, and to preserve and enhance philanthropy and volunteerism. The chapter serves Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Volusia counties. AFP Central Florida's Mission: Advance philanthropy within the communities we serve, guided by the values and professional ethical standards contained in AFP’s Donor Bill of Rights and Code of Ethical Principles and Standards. The chapter accomplishes its goals through education, training, professional credentialing, mentoring and advocacy. AFP Central Florida's Vision: To position the Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals as the leader in advancing effective and ethical fundraising practices in the Central Florida community.
