AFR is headed by Ambassador David Lin (former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, ROC) and boasts an exuberant membership of talents from the public, private, and third sectors. AFR seeks to combine the resources across these sectors to expand and supplement Taiwan’s global relationships.
AFR assists partners in their efforts to develop new opportunities for international exchange and cross-strait interaction in the hope of promoting durable global peace and stability, with a focus on the Indo-Pacific region.
AFR facilitates consultations and hosts new exchange opportunities including meetings, academic seminars, and conferences that help raise awareness about international affairs while exploring new opportunities for Taiwan’s international outreach.
