BRI is a global development strategy adopted by China aimed at infrastructural development and investments in 152 countries and in international organizations in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. There are a number of media, academic and intellectual platforms reporting on Asia in Africa. Various Asian governments sponsor most of these platforms, each wanting to promote its own political agenda and foreign policy.
