African Food Research Network (AfREN) is a registered Not for Profit (NPO) organisation in terms of the Nonprofit Organisation Act of 1997 of the Republic of South Africa. Its operation is however open to all African countries, showcasing Africa to the world and the world to Africa.
We are a group of food professionals passionate about advancing the science of food from a lab-industry-trade nexus. Hence, AfREN is a growing collaborative network of research, industry, regulatory, trade, allied professionals and partners.
