Engineers without borders Israel - Africa Tel Aviv

Africa group, Engineers without Borders IL -Tel-Aviv is focusing on providing safe drinking water to rural villages in Africa that don't have access to clean water. Since 2008, we are working with the community of the Babati region, Tanzania. Over the years we have built 10 water harvesting systems and 1 water filtration system that provide safe drinking water to 6000 kids at schools. In addition, a solar panels system was installed to supply electricity to the regional medical center. Our vision is to improve the accessibility to potable water by using a sustainable and efficient solution. Through educational programs and the engagement of the community, we promote the locals to replicate the solution in other areas that suffer from water scarcity.
