MISSION & VISION SUMMARY The Africa Continental Engineering and Construction Network (ACECN) is a private civil engineering consultancy firm that seeks to the collation of all engineering practitioners and stakeholders of the building, architecture, construction and real estate industries across the African continent. The network is an embodiment of civil engineers, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, water/environmental engineers, mechanical engineers, mining engineers, electrical/electronic engineers, chemical engineers, surveyors, planners, land economists, architects, valuers, building contractors, real estate developers, legal consultants, artisans et cetera. The main objective of this collation is to bridge the artificial barriers that separates us and bring together all these professionals across the African continent and beyond with the ultimate aim of creating an economic value through high-power business networking, knowledge and technology sharing/transfer for mutual benefits and for our continental prosperity at large. The motivation behind this all-important collation, is to inculcate the principles of business development which is conspicuously missing in all engineering curricula and construction stakeholder programs across the globe. The world is changing, it is no longer the one who has the technical know-how that really gets the job, but the one that has the ability to identify and target a class/category of society that are likely to appreciate and patronize the services one renders and the packaging of same that gives value convincingly.
