AfricAlive has been a professional, industry funded five month expedition for the 33rd Centennial Celebration of Delft University of Technology in 2007. It was an ultimate experience of six talented students that crossed over 22.000 kilometers from Delft, The Netherlands to Cape Town, South Africa to report about sustainable technology. Ten projects were visited and awareness has been raised on a national scale through the Dutch media, the publication of an official book and DVD and through many presentations for students, organizations and sponsors.
