African Certification & Testing (ACT) has been established to provide a vehicle in which to operate a mark scheme and inspections for the benefit of the utility wooden pole industry in Africa. Currently there is no Certification Body that can provide a cost effective certification and testing service to the various Utility Companies (Electrical & Telecommunications) in Africa.
ACT is currently accredited for ISO/IEC 17021-1 for Quality Management System Certification for EAC 6: Wood and Wood Products (ISO 9001) and
ACT is currently accredited for ISO/IEC 17065 for product certification with regards to SANS 754, SANS 457-2, SANS 457-3 and SANS 1288.
ACT is also accredited for GLOBALG.A.P. Plant Scope, Fruit and vegetables for IFA Version 6 SMART and GFS.
