African Human Resources Confederation

The African Human Resources Confederation is a not-for-profit association that is strictly professional and independent of any political, government, religious, or labour-union ties. Our goal is to improve the HR function throughout the continent. The potential for economic development and growth in Africa is clear. But we can't reach that potential unless we upgrade HR. The merger gives us a great opportunity to do that, we will leverage our large network of representatives One Africa from 27 countries in the Confederation. AHRC’s objectives include the following: Encourage and support the development of the HR function within organizations across the continent; Guide and support efforts in this direction by the AFDIP and the AFHRMA; Maintain various statistics and data on HR management; Promote the excahnge of information, experience, tools and reference material between the Federations and member associations of the Federations; Establish and/or contribute to maintaining friendly and supportive relations in order to strengthen cooperation and build extensive exchange networks between HR specialists; Promote and conduct studies, investigations and research in various HR and organizational management fields and publish and share the findings of this research with all the Associations; Encourage cooperation and exchanges with the associations and international organizations pursuing the same objectives.
