The African Robotics Network (AfROB) is a nonprofit, community-driven initiative building a continent-wide ecosystem to advance robotics and AI for Africa’s inclusive and sustainable development. Our mission is to help Africa harness the transformative potential of robotics and AI by developing local talent and driving collaboration across education, research, industry, and policy. AfROB’s work is anchored in four strategic pillars: 1. Talent & Workforce: Expanding access to cutting-edge robotics and AI skills for African learners, educators, and professionals. 2. Research & Innovation: Enabling local innovation and research that address African priorities and contribute globally. 3. Industry: Promoting the development and adoption of robotics in key sectors like agriculture, health, manufacturing, and logistics. 4.
