We are a philanthropic 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, tax ID # 82-0843418. Founded in 2016 by a social entrepreneur with a heart for Africa and a desire to improve women's lives in rural agrarian communities, we use social entrepreneurship to create food security, and employment, and foster education, and economic empowerment in rural communities. We are rebranding to “Africa Vertical, Inc.’ as we continue to dedicate our lives and services to leaving the world a better place than the one we were born into. Founded as the ‘Zimbabwe Farm Project, Inc.” as a philanthropic 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization in 2016, it stands in honor of those who have come before and who continue to pave the way to empower Africans to uplift and elevate through traditional, sustainable farming methods, augmented by renewable energy and technology. Our international team works closely to build collective power for change through self-sufficiency and empowerment initiatives. We create sustainable solutions to address food insecurity through employment and women’s empowerment initiatives for people in rural agricultural communities. Our mission facilitates program participants’ ability to engage in the local economy to create financial independence in conjunction with donor support. We believe it is incumbent upon each of us to improve our lives and strengthen our countries by leveraging traditional sustainable living solutions, utilizing renewable energy, and investing in real people who will be empowered to uplift their families, communities, and nations.
