We are linked to a whale shark safari business and you will have opportunity to help with the safaris, doing organic gardening, converting our bungalow for budget accommodation and being part of an awesome community! You have the power to open up some amazing opportunities for local Mafian people with skills you don't even know are significant... Mafia Island is the main island situated in the Mafia Archipelago, it is one of a few places around the world where the Whale Sharks go against their natural instincts and remain all year round. Mafia is so blessed that is is a safe place for them to have and nurture their young, so why would they leave? The island is also home to the most beautiful and pristine marine park on the entire East African coastline, boasting coral reefs and underwater life that is unmatched in the region. This makes Mafia Island a hotspot for divers and snorkelling tourists from around the globe, if you join our vibrant team then we would love to share experiences such as these and more, doing it in local Swahili coast fashion. Our homestay is small (max 4 people capacity), super homely, safe and peaceful. We're located in a beautiful forest, the quiet neighborhood is friendly and welcoming, with the stunning beaches of Kilindoni, within 20 minutes walking distance. Travelers come to us in search of tranquility and nature, which there's plenty of all around our house. We keep our home farm very clean and we take the best care of our guests so that they feel like family. We are seeking bright minded and forward thinking individuals with skills in agriculture, permaculture, horticulture, we are also interested in people with skills in website design, social media management, business administration and marketing. We love people who are passionate about art, culture,
