Afterhouse, created in 2013, is a social promotion association. Afterhouse explores and promotes initiatives to revitalize communities through events, workshops and debates.
In 2013 the association created Maltattack, a project with the aim of revitalizing the historic center of Chieti, Italy starting from piazza Malta, the city market square. The project has developed over the years through cultural events and the creation of the Afterhouse basecamp in the premises of the disused fish market in the square. The basecamp is the space where the association thinks and creates its own initiatives. Currently the association is working on new projects to address the problem of depopulation of Chieti and climate change collaborating with different organizations in Europe.
