In response to these issues, the AFTERMATCH project was born, with its main goal of supporting athletes in transferring skills acquired during their sports career into the job market post-retirement. The project aims not only to introduce innovative solutions but also to promote dual career practices for athletes as a philosophy of strategic action and earlier career path planning after sports retirement.
